Behind the scenes of Tikino’s design

A projector suitable for independent use by children
Specially designed so that a child from 3 years old can use it alone, our projector is intended to be safe, ergonomic and fun.
It is with this roadmap that we worked for several months alongside Clémence Germain, our industrial designer.
Our inspirations: the telescope, symbol of our brand, evoking adventure and discovery and vintage cameras, recalling tender memories and the very special role of the image in the transmission and creation of family memories.

Tikino more beautiful and more efficient
For the Ulule campaign, we presented a first design that ultimately did not pass the industrial prototype test. Its slender shape posed too many technical constraints and did not allow us to have the visual rendering of the quality that we were hoping for.
Redesigning the product when we had already won over our contributors with a different form was not an easy decision to make, but we kept our goal of quality above all else in mind and decided to go for it.
After several weeks of new research and work, we were able to present a new version that met all the quality criteria, was industrializable and, as a bonus, included numerous functional improvements in these changes of form.
🤩 best image quality for a truly perfect rendering
🎵 Better sound thanks to the sound box
💡 native offset management: the image is projected slightly upwards for optimal use even when placed on the ground
👍 more stable in all positions: wall or ceiling projection
🛠 More robust with anti-breakage and anti-dust tips
👌 Integrated handle for easy preemption by small hands
👇 Enlarged buttons and improved textures for easier handling
Objective achieved for this new version presented in March and which immediately won over our community.
Playful and intuitive, we wanted it to be aesthetic and chose soft colors so that it naturally finds its place in your children's pretty bedroom.
