Summary :
Ashley Anderson lives in China where his father founded a mission and a hospital. When war breaks out between China and Japan in 1937, the young boy must flee. Accompanied by Uncle Sung, a Tibetan monk, he undertakes a long and perilous journey that takes him to Tibet. But Ashley finds himself alone, lost in the snows of the Himalayas, and will be taken in by the mysterious yetis...

Ma fille de 5 ans beaucoup aimé cette histoire qui lui a fait ressentir "toutes les émotions". Mon ado l'a aussi appréciée pour la qualité des graphismes et la beauté de l'histoire dans laquelle on se plonge facilement. Les thèmes (guerre, abandon, secrets à protéger et amitiés étranges) sont plus complexes que dans les histoires tikino dont nous sommes habituées mais chacune y a trouvé son compte.
