The Trojan War Episode 4 - The Wrath of Achilles
Summary :
While Achilles, furious with Agamemnon, refuses to fight, Paris and Menelaus face each other in a duel to try to end the war. But Aphrodite falsifies the fight by saving Paris at the last moment and the conflict resumes with renewed vigor. It is then that Patroclus, Achilles' best friend, has an idea: to pretend to be the hero to make people believe that he is returning to the battlefield...
A word from the team:
" Sing, Goddess, the anger of Achilles... " - this is how the Iliad begins , whose real subject is not the war but the evolution of Achilles' emotions. This episode, centered on the two angers of the hero who goes from resentment to rage with the loss of his best friend, is therefore essential in the story. Children will discover two other key scenes from Homer's text: the duel between Paris and Menelaus and Hector's moving farewell to his wife and son.
