🎙️ A word from the Tikino team:
Selected in official competition at the Annecy Festival 2025, The Carp and the Child is, in the words of its director, "a film like a haiku, a fleeting moment of poetry and humor." Blending the softness of watercolor with a mandolin-accented score, this magnificent short film features a child determined to fish, confronted by a mischievous nature that seems to do everything to prevent him. Until the final "fall"—both literally and figuratively—that finally allows him to find harmony with the world around him.
