Once upon a time... Man - Pack 3: The first empires + The century of Pericles
🎬 Summary:
The era of empires has arrived! Wars follow one another, the Assyrian, Babylonian and Persian empires rise and then fall. Darius, 500 years BC, successor to Cyrius, reigns over 20 kingdoms. Never in the history of man has power equaled his.
In Athens in 438 BC, the Parthenon, a project of Pericles, was inaugurated. Hippocrates, Sophocles and Socrates can be recognized in the procession. Alas, Greece would exhaust itself in endless wars.
🎙️ A word from the Tikino team:
The wealth created by the exploitation of the fertile valleys allowed the advent of empires that would follow one another, creating merciless rivalries. A dazzling period to discover, marked by the birth of the mythical city of Babylon.
Maestro then takes us to ancient Greece where we witness the birth of democracy, citizenship, the right to vote... a period which marks the golden age of Greece.
