Summary :

Every day, the big trucks go to work. They dig, lift and push. They build buildings, roads and bridges, until the whistle blows. Then they do it again. But one day, Digger the excavator finds something growing among the rubble: a pretty little thing that looks like a flower.

As Digger begins to care for the flower, the day comes when the trucks must build a building on the very spot where it grows, forcing the excavator to make a choice... This story with simple shapes and minimalist colors - one palette for the world of the city, another for the world of nature - will delight children who love construction equipment while sending them a strong message about preserving the environment and paying attention to the world around them.
