🎬 Summary:
After several disastrous attempts, Buster finally realizes his dream: he sets off on a cruise with his wife and children on a boat he built himself, christened "DAMFINO" (meaning "I don't know"). But then a storm hits, putting the boat—and the family man—to the test!
🎙️ A word from the team:
Made in 1921, The Boat is a plunge into the heart of Buster Keaton's inventive humor, one of the most famous masters of slapstick. Each stunt, performed without special effects, testifies to his genius for combining humor and technical prowess. But beyond the stunts and gags, what stands out about this short film is its family-friendly setting, which offers children an ideal entry point to discover the richness of silent cinema.
